SHARED "DREAMS": An Introduction
There are special sleep analysis dream experiences that we are able to share with another incarnated human or people, and I call these "shared dreams". These kinds of dream experiences usually are not psychological dreams, i.e. not dreams comprised of only our ideas and memories and desires, they are not the product of our personal personal psychology. Shared dreams may be to other locations on earth, or to other realms, or may be in regards to the future. In these shared dreams two or more individuals go to the identical place, on the identical night time, and have more-or-less the identical experience there. Typically the two individuals will see one another there, generally not. However both individuals will describe the realm, and the occasions that occurred in the realm, in the same manner - although they may have had their own individual and personal experiences there.
As in other "dream" conferences and visits, these shared "dreams" really feel more real than peculiar dreams, and are more vivid than peculiar dreams. A few of these shared dreams are ongoing - and some are a one time visit. And both visit us at dreamanalysishq sort of dream meeting may be to a different place on earth, or to a place in another realm. If there is a particular event in another realm, or someplace on earth - then two or more individuals will dream about it on the identical night. For example, if a concert is scheduled for eight o'clock in the night in this realm, and also you and a good friend both wish to attend it, you then both have to point out up at the proper place and the fitting time. The identical is true in visits to other realms.
An Example of a Shared Dream: SPRINGTIME at CORNELL - The BELLS
I had an fascinating shared "dream" throughout the time I was living at the State Avenue house, over twenty years ago. I remember this "dream" vividly. In this dream meeting, I'm floating over Ithaca, and fly through the air to the Cornell campus. It's a stunning day, and as I strategy a lawn close to Sage Chapel, from the air I see what seems like a big outdoor celebration of some kind, a party. Persons are fortunately bustling round, eating and drinking; many people appear to know each other. Some clump into various small teams, some individuals journey from clump to clump, or wend their manner between the opposite teams as a way to get to a different desired vacation spot on the lawn. It seemed like a vast, sprawling, glad party. It is springtime, all of the spring timber are flowering, and I can hear the bells of the Cornell clock tower ringing. A whole lot of people are there. I "land" on the lawn and join the party. I meet my good friend Frieda, and more-or-less keep together with her and our small clump of people. Frieda is the one person there that I recognize. As I stand before my good friend, our futures unfold symbolically in the area between us. We smile at one another and the "dream" ends. The next morning I told a good friend who was visiting the State Avenue house in regards to the dream. She laughed and said: "You have been there too? I didn't see you there. Everyone was getting married, all kinds of people." When she said this, I noticed this was true. Two individuals in our cluster of celebrants did appear to be having a non-public ceremony of some kind whereas others, including myself, watched. Though my over all feeling was that I missed a lot of the weddings, and as a substitute got there in time for the receptions.
When my good friend Diana was visiting Ithaca last month - this is over twenty years later - she went up to the Cornell campus. When she returned from her errand, she said that one spot on campus had been the scene of a dream that she had had a few years earlier, a dream a couple of massive occasion at Cornell. She acknowledged the lawn and the buildings close by, and it all seemed just as it had in the dream. I smiled to myself and asked her when she had this dream. She said it was over 20 years ago. I then asked her if it was spring. And he or she said, with some amazement - "Yes. It was spring." I asked her if she was at Sage Chapel, and he or she answered, "No. However I was on the lawn at Olin Library, which is true across from Sage Chapel." I then asked her if the dream seemed totally different from her other dreams and he or she answered, sure, it left her with a visceral reminiscence, as though it had been a real event. She additionally said it had been one of the most vivid dreams she had ever had, and that it had stayed together with her throughout the years. Furthermore - she had never been to Ithaca before the dream. Nor had she even heard of Ithaca, nor seen the Cornell campus, not even in images or books. She said, " I had this dream before you and I ever met, before I had even moved to Ithaca. This dream brought me to Ithaca." She added that on her first trip to the Cornell campus, a few years in the past, "It was precisely as it had seemed in that dream!... It was the place I noticed in my dream."
Neither of my two associates, nor I, knew Diana at the time of the shared dream. No less than not on a acutely aware level. And my future did unfold as foretold in the dream, as did my good friend Frieda's.
SHARED DREAMS: More Thoughts
These special dreams can unlock a few mysteries for us if we permit them to. For one, these dream conferences and visits can teach us that we aren't just the physical physique, that there is a part of us that is not restricted to the physical physique - and that there is a more true, perhaps even eternal side of ourselves that we aren't ordinarily aware of, a self that can even journey unfettered among the many stars.
Am I saying that every one astral journey, or out-of-physique journey, or dream journey is sacred and that of the Soul Itself? No, I'm not. We will additionally go to lower realms in these special dreams, and fall into our personal lower nature whereas there. We will plummet to the base of a cliff as others easily float in a "dream" go to, as a result of we are inexperienced persons, neophytes, and have much to learn.
However we are able to additionally go to higher realms and be taught and evolve, just as we are able to be taught and evolve right here on earth, in the physical body. We will take the teachings we be taught from these dream experiences and try to put them into our waking state lives.
And these dream experiences can also lead us to question the concepts of time and area as we ordinarily experience and take into consideration them.
