The internet has given the world many, many great things. On an individual level, it has also helped me fill my wallet between paychecks. There is an amazing amount of lotteries and sweepstakes that anyone can enter when on the world wide web. To get your cut, just start entering your info.
You know those lottery tickets that you always see at gas station counters? They have them behind glass at grocery stores, too. The scratch offs end up all over the sidewalk once they've been scratched and deemed worthless. Most states also have their own lottery. This is the sweepstakes that people watch the evening news to find out about. Most local news stations broadcast the winning digits so players everywhere can find out if they won.
I have bought a few of these paper lottery tickets in the past. The thing that kept me from buying more frequently, though, was the simple fact that they required me to buy them at all. I love to bet but am good about knowing when the odds are against me.
That's what I love about online sweepstakes: they are free. Company sponsorship and the like make it possible for an average person like you and me to enter our info for a chance to win. Free of charge. No purchase required.
Time, some people say, is money and, if that's the case, I would run into the same investment versus odds problem as I do with traditional paper lotteries. However, the fact that I have won more than one sweepstakes makes it clear that the investment of a few minutes a day does in fact pay off down the road. The odds are just better.
The odds you have of winning online are higher for a variety of reasons. The biggest, though, is that you can simply enter more lotteries. I commit just a few minutes a day to entering lotteries, but you could spend hours entering your info and not run out of games to participate in.
One of my techniques to win more is to find games with very few other entrants. This automatically increases my odds of winning. You have to know where to look to find these, but it's worked for me in the past.
Getting down to numbers, let me just say that I have won sweepstakes six times. Each one was sponsored by a different company, but total they have all added up to over $800!
The way to win is to simply be persistent and consistent about applying to as many sweepstakes as you can. Uncross your fingers long enough to type in your entry form info and you won't be sorry!
